Thermo Fisher Scientific, the world leader in serving science, was proud to welcome Jozef Sikela, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic, along with a distinguished delegation from various Czech companies, to its headquarters in Waltham, Massachusetts, and to its state-of-the-art viral-vector manufacturing facility in Lexington, Massachusetts.
This landmark visit marks the largest Czech business delegation to ever visit the United States, underscoring the strong business relationships and mutual benefits shared between Thermo Fisher and the Czech Republic. During their visit, the delegation toured Thermo Fisher’s facilities and were briefed on the company’s latest innovations in biotechnology, including advancements in viral-vector manufacturing which are critical to gene therapy and vaccine development. The visit also provided a platform for discussing future investments and partnerships that would benefit both Thermo Fisher’s global operations and the Czech Republic’s economic interests.
