Croda is pleased to announce the appointments of Stephen Oxley as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Executive Director, and Dr. Thomas Riermeier as President of Life Sciences, effective immediately.

Stephen joins Croda from Johnson Matthey Plc, where he played a pivotal role in driving business transformation, simplifying the portfolio, and enhancing financial performance. With a wealth of experience in financial leadership, Stephen is set to play a key role in supporting Croda’s continued growth and strategic ambitions.

Thomas brings extensive leadership experience in the chemical and pharmaceutical sectors, having most recently led the global Health Care business at Evonik Industries AG. His responsibilities included drug substance and drug delivery solutions, particularly lipid-based delivery systems. His industry expertise and leadership will be vital as Croda accelerates innovation and expansion across its Life Sciences business.

Croda also extends its sincere appreciation to Anthony Fitzpatrick and David Cherry, who have been serving in interim leadership roles. Anthony will now return to his role as President, Corporate Development and Industrial Specialties, and David to his position as Vice President of Strategy, Life Sciences.
