American Institute of Pathology & Laboratory Sciences (Ampath) Expands with Second Reference Lab in India

Ampath, known as the American Institute of Pathology & Laboratory Sciences, has inaugurated its inaugural reference laboratory in Gurugram, marking its second establishment in India. Covering an extensive 7000 sq. ft., the lab is equipped with cutting-edge technology to swiftly produce high-quality reports. This strategic expansion enhances Ampath's service reach across North India, serving as a pivotal diagnostic hub for Delhi and nearby states.

Operating under the guidance of experienced pathologists, the spacious facility offers a comprehensive array of over 2,500 tests. These encompass Clinical Biochemistry, Hematology, Flow Cytometry, Clinical Pathology, Serology, Immunology, Microbiology, Cytology, Histopathology, Immunohistochemistry, Molecular Diagnostics, Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS), and Cytogenetics. This wide spectrum of services facilitates the diagnosis and identification of various diseases, crucial for clinicians in determining appropriate treatment strategies.

Ampath's Central Reference Laboratory, based in Hyderabad, supplements its 14 satellite labs across different locations. The organization holds accreditation from the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL). Additionally, Ampath has forged a partnership with the distinguished University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC), a top-ranking U.S. hospital. This collaboration empowers Ampath's technical team to collaborate with leading global clinicians, enabling the delivery of comprehensive laboratory services of the highest caliber.
