Investment from Caduceus Capital Partners and selection into Caduceus LAUNCH support platform expansion, EHR integration, and a $1.5M raise to scale AI-driven patient recruitment

TrialClinIQ, an AI-powered clinical trial recruitment platform based in Houston, Texas advancing health equity, announced a $150K pre-seed investment from Caduceus Capital Partners and its selection into the Caduceus LAUNCH digital health accelerator. The company has also opened a $1.5M round to accelerate growth.

Founded by board-certified neurologist and clinical researcher Jontel Pierce, MD, TrialClinIQ is rethinking how patients are matched to clinical trials. The platform connects complex trial criteria with real-world clinical data and automated outreach workflows, enabling sponsors, research sites, and health systems to identify and engage eligible patients faster while improving access to clinical trials.

The investment and accelerator support will drive product development, expand EHR and data integrations, and launch early pilots with health systems and research partners.

“Clinical trials drive innovation, but too many patients are still left out,” said Jontel Pierce, MD, founder and CEO of TrialClinIQ. “We’re building the infrastructure to connect more patients to clinical trials by essentially decentralizing clinical trial recruitment.”

Caduceus LAUNCH is designed to fast-track high-potential digital health startups through capital, mentorship, and direct access to a national network of healthcare operators and investors. Caduceus Capital Partners invests in early-stage companies positioned to reshape healthcare delivery and outcomes.

TrialClinIQ’s $1.5M raise will support team expansion across engineering and data science, deepen data and EHR partnerships, strengthen security and compliance, and scale commercial efforts with sponsors, CROs, and health systems. The company is seeking investors aligned with digital health innovation and equitable access to care.
