Prior to joining Sartorius, Dr. Funck held various leadership positions within the esteemed Haniel Group. Notably, he served as CFO of TAKKT AG, a publicly listed company in which Haniel holds a majority stake, from 2004 onwards. His tenure within the Haniel Group spanned from 1994 to 2023, during which he demonstrated exceptional financial acumen and strategic vision.

In his new capacity at Sartorius, Dr. Funck's responsibilities extend beyond finance. He will also oversee the Information Technology (IT) and central procurement functions, reflecting his diverse skill set and comprehensive understanding of organizational dynamics.
