AES Cleanroom Technology Launches Omni ASCENT at INTERPHEX 2025 to Redefine Modular Utility Integration

04 April 2025 | Friday | News

Next-gen off-site manufactured utility system offers unmatched flexibility, faster deployment, and safer, more adaptable cleanroom design for pharma and biotech facilities

AES Cleanroom Technology, a leader in modular cleanroom solutions, has officially launched Omni ASCENT at INTERPHEX 2025. The next-generation Off-Site Manufactured (OSM) vertical utility solution is designed to optimize cleanroom flexibility and efficiency, marking a significant step forward in cleanroom utility integration.

Built on AES’s Omni utility raceway foundation—a proven system that integrates critical cleanroom utilities into a modular, adaptable framework—Omni ASCENT redefines cleanroom design. Unlike traditional systems that require utilities to be mounted on walls or ceilings, limiting layout options and creating accessibility challenges, Omni ASCENT enables the strategic placement of utilities anywhere on the cleanroom floor. This enables greater flexibility, efficiency, and safety, allowing pharmaceutical and biotech facilities to optimize space and workflow without compromising compliance.

“Omni ASCENT is a direct response to the evolving needs of modern cleanroom environments,” said Shawn Reniker, Senior Vice President of Operations. “By eliminating the need for wall or ceiling-mounted utilities, we are giving manufacturers the freedom to configure layouts more efficiently, enhance accessibility for maintenance and operations, and accelerate deployment—all while maintaining the highest industry standards.”

Designed for rapid deployment, Omni ASCENT arrives fully assembled and ready for installation in under half a day, significantly reducing downtime. Its strategic utility placement enhances ergonomics and creates a safer workspace by eliminating unnecessary ladder use and tripping hazards. The system integrates seamlessly with existing Omni raceway solutions, ensuring a streamlined transition for both new cleanroom builds and facility retrofits.

Following the overwhelming response to the CleanLock Module™, a pre-engineered, self-contained cleanroom entry system, at INTERPHEX 2024, AES recognized the industry’s growing need for modular, adaptable solutions. Its strong market reception highlighted the importance of solutions enabling manufacturers to adapt to regulatory requirements and production demands without extended construction periods or inflexible facility designs. Through the adoption of modular approaches, industry leaders can now implement cleanrooms that evolve seamlessly alongside their changing requirements, freeing them from the constraints of traditional, fixed installations.

“Last year, the CleanLock Module™ reinforced the demand for smarter, more flexible cleanroom solutions. Omni ASCENT builds on that momentum, providing even greater adaptability in utility integration and ensuring that facilities can scale efficiently without redesigning their infrastructure,” said Chris Miller, Chief Executive Officer.
