The Swiss Business Hub India once again played a pivotal role at the sidelines of the World Economic Forum 2025 in Davos, fostering connections between stakeholders from Switzerland , Liechtenstein , and India . This year, the focus was on the Trade and Economic Partnership Agreement (TEPA) between EFTA and India and its promotion as a driver of bilateral trade and innovation.
A significant highlight of the event was the launch of the TEPA Impact Report by Ambassador Maya Tissafi during a high-level Swiss-Liechtenstein-India dinner. The report provides strategic guidance on leveraging the comprehensive trade and economic partnership agreement to unlock opportunities for businesses across the three regions.
In addition to the TEPA discussions, the Swiss-Indian Innovation Events on Health-Tech and Sustainability provided an essential platform for companies from Switzerland, Liechtenstein, and India to explore collaborative opportunities. These events facilitated dynamic discussions and the initiation of bilateral partnerships aimed at advancing innovation in health technologies and sustainable solutions.
Key partners and contributors to these impactful initiatives included Swissnex in India, the Consulate General of Switzerland, Swiss-Indian Chamber of Commerce, Switzerland Global Enterprise, Tata Consultancy Services, Lenz & Staehelin, Maier+Vidorno, K&S Partners, Forbes Marshall, Panitek Green Ventures, and Nik Gugger. Other notable supporters included Swissmem, Swissrail Industry Association, Invest India, Switzerland Innovation Park Zurich, Liechtenstein Marketing, and Aisot Technologies.
"The successful engagement at the World Economic Forum 2025 reflects our shared commitment to strengthening trade and innovation between Switzerland, Liechtenstein, and India. TEPA offers a comprehensive framework for collaboration, and the relationships fostered here will contribute significantly to economic growth and technological advancements across regions," said a representative from the Swiss Business Hub India.
The Swiss Business Hub India continues to be a vital bridge for fostering innovation, trade, and partnerships, ensuring that stakeholders from Switzerland, Liechtenstein, and India are well-positioned to seize opportunities for mutual benefit.
